I, Futo Akiyoshi, am allocating each of the 29 paintings in this series I made from 2020 to 2022 to one of a total of 29 curators and art critics, and am asking each to write a text about, and title, that painting. The information that I am giving these writers will be confined to the painting’s appearance (you will view the actual painting or a digital image of it) as well as its size, materials, and year of production. I shall provide absolutely no information on things such as the painting’s background or other details about it. In addition, as a writer, you will have free rein as regards the text length and style. Your title and text will be displayed along with the painting allocated to you as part of the work.
